Learn English with your favourite music!

In my opinion music is a very funny way to learn and improve English. I love music and I always try to understand what a song is trying to communicate to me. When I watch a video clip in TV or I listen to a new song, I am curious to know what the singer is saying. I wonder if he or she is happy, sad, angry, upset and why.

Besides, you would agree with me that most of the songs we listen to in the radio or in a TV announcement are written in English. So, we must go beyond the rhythm and try to understand the lyrics. We can search for them in the internet and we can have fun watching the video clip and singing the song at the same time, like in a Japanese karaoke. In the net we will find lots of sites with videos and lyrics. Try to practise it!

Moreover, music can also be a way of relaxing. I like to sit in my sofa and listen to a CD with the lyrics in my hands while I read them in a low voice. Just try it!

Anyway, that is only my opinion and perhaps you don't agree with me.

Best regards,

Loli Esbrí.

P.S.: let's sing! Here you will find the lyrics of the hit "Umbrella" by Rihanna together with the video-clip: http://www.musica.com/video.asp?video=1546
